Professor Ginjeira graduated in Medicine in 1982 and in Dentistry in 1985, and later earned his PhD in Endodontics in 2008, consolidating his scientific and clinical authority. He is currently the Head of the Department of Endodontics at the University of Lisbon, Coordinator of the Master’s Program in Endodontics, where he prepares future international endodontic specialists through a postgraduate curriculum whose diploma is recognized by the European Society of Endodontology (ESE),
His clinical expertise covers advanced microscope-assisted endodontic treatments, the management of complex periapical pathology, endodontic microsurgery, and dental replantation, areas in which he is widely respected for both his precision and sound clinical judgment.
